Exam Pattern

1. Written Test:
The written test consists of two papers: Paper-I on General Aptitude and Engineering Mathematics, and Paper-II on the subject of the paper (Chemical/Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering).

Selection Process

1. Selection Stages:

Final merit list prepared category-wise based on written and interview marks, applying Bihar reservation rules.

4. VI disability verification:

5. Medical Board meeting (VI):
Candidates must appear again before the Medical Board at IGIMS, Patna on 20.05.2026 at 03:00 बजे अपराह्न; absence on both dates will forfeit Divyang benefits.

2. Categories shown in cut-off:
UR, UR (Female), EWS, SC, SC (Female), ST, EBC, EBC (Female), BC, BC (Female), Disabled (VI), and Grandchild of Ex-Freedom Fighter.
3. FFD clarification (this notice):
In the final result published on 03.07.2026 for Advt. 34/2025, one EBC category selectee is covered under horizontal reservation marked as FFD; the Remarks column should reflect FFD for that candidate.

Being called for interview is purely provisional; eligibility will be verified and the Commission may take necessary decisions.
10. Ban on electronic items (interview):
Mobile phone, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi gadget, electronic pen and wrist watch (normal/smart) are prohibited in the Commission premises; family members are not allowed.
11. Signature on proforma:
Sign in both Hindi and English in the designated boxes on the medical examination proforma.
