Job Details
CFQC&TI, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, seeks Young Professionals to support analysis of Bio‑stimulants and Nano fertilizers and the operation/maintenance of instruments such as HPLC, LC‑MS‑MS, GC‑MS/MS, ICP, TGA, FTIR and TEM. Duties include day‑to‑day monitoring of laboratory equipment and assisting officers in standardization of methods of analysis as per Fertilizer Control Order, 1985. Engagement is purely contractual and full‑time; working hours are generally 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and YPs may be called on Saturdays/Sundays/holidays when required.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Essential qualification: Master’s degree in Chemistry (Inorganic/Organic/Analytical) or M.Sc (Agriculture) in Soil Science/Agricultural Chemistry or M.Sc in Micro Biology or M.Sc Agri in Entomology from a recognised University/Institute.
- Experience: Minimum 02 years in relevant field of Bio‑stimulants/Nano fertilizers analysis and handling of instruments; computer proficiency required; preference to M.Phil/Ph.D.
Age Limitations:
- Upper age limit: Not exceeding 35 years on the last date of submission of application.
Salary Details
> Gross Salary: ₹60,000 Monthly
> Allowances: No allowances; TA/DA on official tours as admissible to Assistant Section Officer (Level 7).
Other Information
- Increment: No annual increment/percentage increase during the contract period.
- Joining TA/DA: No TA/DA or joining time is admissible for joining or on completion of assignment.
- Benefits not admissible: PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, HRA/accommodation, DA, phone/conveyance/transport, CGHS or any other allowance are not admissible.
- Tax deduction: TDS/Income Tax will be deducted as per rules.

Selection Process
- 1. Shortlisting:
- Applications will be scrutinized and shortlisted by the Screening Committee of CFQC&TI.
- 2. Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will appear before the Screening Committee for an interview at CFQC&TI, Faridabad on a date to be intimated.
- 3. Merit panel:
- A merit panel of up to 15 candidates will be prepared; offers will be issued to top candidates equal to the number of posts; panel valid for one year.
Document Requirements
- 1. With application:
- Self‑attested copies of educational qualification and experience certificates.
- 2. Pre‑engagement certificates:
- Good Health certificate from a recognized physician prior to commencement; police verification report and medical‑cum‑fitness certificate before engagement.
Important Instructions
- 1. Nature of engagement:
- Engagement is purely contractual at one level (Young Professional).
- 2. Tenure:
- Initially for three (03) years; extendable based on performance and approval of competent authority; no experience certificate if leaving before one year.
- 3. Working hours and leave:
- Normal hours 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; may be required on Saturdays/Sundays/holidays; 08 days leave per year on pro‑rata; outside assignments are not allowed.
- 4. Termination:
- Either side may terminate with 30 days’ notice; services may be terminated immediately for misconduct/insubordination.
- 5. Confidentiality:
- Subject to Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923; data and outputs are property of the Department and must be treated as confidential.
