Applications are invited from eligible officials for filling one Stenographer Grade‑I post at the Headquarters Office of Soil & Land Use Survey of India (SLUSI), New Delhi on deputation (including short‑term contract) or absorption basis. The post is classified as General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Non‑Gazetted, Ministerial with Level‑6 of the Pay Matrix (pre‑revised Rs 9300–34800 + GP Rs 4200). The period of deputation ordinarily shall not exceed four years and the maximum age for deputation is 56 years as on the closing date.   • Service requirements: Analogous post on regular basis; or six years’ service in Level‑5; or ten years’ service in Level‑4, in the parent cadre/department.
  • Absorption eligibility: Officers of Central/State Governments/UT Administrations only.

5. Employer’s certificate:
Certificate from the employer as given at the end of the Bio‑data proforma.

Important Instructions

1. Proper channel:
Applications must be routed through proper channel; only such applications will be considered.
2. Advance copies:
Advance copies or applications received after the prescribed closing date or without required documents will not be processed and shall be liable to be rejected.
3. Withdrawal of candidature:
Applicants will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.
4. Service equivalence:
For deputation/absorption, service rendered on a regular basis prior to 01.01.2006 will be treated as service in the corresponding grade pay/pay scale as per Sixth CPC provisions mentioned in the notice.
