Job Details
The Junior Procurement Consultant will support public procurement for DGS by: framing bid documents for works, consulting and non-consulting services, and goods as per Standard/Model Tender Documents and applicable regulations; preparing bid documents suitable for platforms like GeM and CPPP; customizing bid documents to departmental needs while ensuring compliance with the Manual of Procurement, GFR 2017, CVC guidelines and other GoI rules; assisting adoption of methods like Reverse Auction and Dynamic Pricing; offering training and support to departmental officers on e-procurement; assisting in procurement planning aligned with timelines and budgets; troubleshooting during tender preparation, submission and evaluation; conducting training/workshops to build staff capacity on procurement rules, tools and best practices; staying updated with procurement laws, guidelines and technologies; collaborating with senior officials and external consultants; interfacing with the e-procurement team for bid process management and expediting procurement on CPPP/GeM. Work is onsite at DGS, Mumbai.

1. Junior Procurement Consultant
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from a UGC or Central Government recognized University.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in procurement-related activities in Government/PSU sector; experience with e‑procurement platforms (GeM/CPPP).
Salary Details
> Gross Salary: ₹1,00,000 Monthly
Other Information
- CTP wording: Remuneration as per Government Policy Manual with a monthly CTP of Rs 1,00,000; initial base remuneration to be negotiated based on experience and last pay drawn.
