Job Details
Centre for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics (CAIR), DRDO, invites applications from Indian nationals for one Junior Research Fellowship (Mathematics). The fellowship tenure is 2 years, extendable and upgradable to SRF as per rules. Selection will be through a written test at CAIR on 24th November 2026 followed by an interview on the same day for qualified candidates; final selection will be based on the interview merit list. - Essential qualification: MSc in Mathematics with first division from AICTE accredited Institute/University and NET/GATE qualified.
- Desirable: Knowledge of lattice-based Cryptography; proficiency in C and Python.
Age Limitations:
- Upper age limit: 28 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
- Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST/PH and 3 years for OBC.

> Gross Salary: ₹37,000 Monthly
> Allowances: HRA as per rules.

- Stipend wording: As per rules of the funding agencies, at present Rs. 37000 + HRA per month.

- Written Test followed by Interview on the same day for qualified candidates.
- 2. Merit list:
- Post will be offered as per the merit list based on interview performance; if the selected candidate refuses, the offer moves to the next candidate in the merit list.

- 08:00–09:30 Hrs on the interview date; late arrivals will not be allowed to participate.
