DMSRDE (DRDO), Kanpur announces a six‑month Paid Internship for final‑year students of B.Tech (UG) and M.Tech/M.Sc (PG) in specified disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science & Technology, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, and Textile. A total of 9 internship seats are offered at DMSRDE, Kanpur with a stipend of Rs. 5000 per month. - Reference/Request letter; Letter from college for Paid Internship; Bonafide Certificate; Original NOC from college; Police verification from hometown/place of residence; Undertaking for Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923; Undertaking to follow IT Rules and Regulations; Bank details for stipend; Original Aadhar Card and college ID for verification plus three passport size photographs; All previous semester mark sheets in original or a college letter certifying originals are held; Any other documents as communicated.
Important Instructions
- 1. No accommodation/boarding:
- No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible; accommodation is not provided by DMSRDE.
- 2. Discipline and termination:
- Interns must adhere to DMSRDE guidelines; involvement in disciplinary activities may lead to termination.
- 3. No employment claim:
- Completion of internship does not confer any right to employment in DMSRDE/DRDO.
- 4. Prohibited items:
- Carrying mobile phone, pen drive, portable hard disk, or laptop inside DMSRDE, Kanpur campus is prohibited.

- Only sick leave (with valid prescription) will be granted.
- 6. Equipment care:
- Candidates are liable to compensate for any damage/degradation of DMSRDE equipment.
