Credit historyCandidates must maintain a healthy credit history at the time of joining, the minimum credit score being as per the participating bank's policy. Where CIBIL or similar status is not updated before joining, the candidate must update it or produce an NOC from the lender, failing which the offer may be withdrawn. This does not apply to candidates with no bank account and is not a pre-condition to apply
Qualification reckoning dateThe final result must have been declared on or before 21.08.2025, with documentary proof produced at the time of joining
Percentage of marksTo be stated to two decimals; CGPA or OGPA must be converted per the university's criteria, with documentary proof at document verification. Fractions are ignored, so 59.99% is treated as below 60%

Exam Pattern

1. Preliminary examination:
Objective, 100 questions for 100 marks in 60 minutes, separately timed: English Language 30 questions / 30 marks / 20 minutes; Numerical Ability 35 / 35 / 20 minutes; Reasoning Ability 35 / 35 / 20 minutes
2. Preliminary qualifying:
Candidates must clear a cut-off in each of the three tests, decided by IBPS; the shortlisted proceed to the Main examination
3. Main examination:
Objective, 155 questions for 200 marks in 120 minutes, separately timed: General/Financial Awareness 40 questions / 50 marks / 20 minutes; General English 40 / 40 / 35 minutes; Reasoning Ability 40 / 60 / 35 minutes; Quantitative Aptitude 35 / 50 / 30 minutes
4. Medium of examination:
English Language and General English are in English; the other tests are offered in the versions listed for the state or union territory applied for, which always include English and Hindi and, in many states, one or more regional languages
5. Negative marking:
0.25 of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for each wrong answer in the objective tests; unanswered questions carry no penalty

3. Stage 3:
Provisional allotment to a participating bank in the state or union territory applied for
4. Local Language Proficiency Test:
Marks-based and qualifying, conducted by an independent body or the bank after the Main examination and provisional allotment but before joining. Candidates who fail it are not offered appointment and are disqualified from the process

Training Details

1. Pre-Examination Training:
May be arranged for a limited number of SC, ST, OBC and minority community candidates in September 2025; candidates who wish to avail of it must opt in the online application
