Job Details

This notification provides Appendix-I certificate formats to certify that a candidate has a physical limitation that hampers writing and therefore needs a scribe to appear in written examinations. One format is a general certificate on writing limitation; another specifically covers persons with less than 40% disability as per Section 2(s) of the RPwD Act, 2016 (not falling under Section 2(r)), confirming that a scribe is required and noting any essential assistive devices. The certificate is to be issued by a Government medical authority, signed by relevant specialists and the Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent (or Chief District Medical Officer as Chairperson), and bears the hospital/health centre seal. Validity is up to six months or less as certified.
