Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is engaging two Research Associates on a purely temporary, project-linked basis for the DBT-sanctioned project titled “Bio-chemical and technological innovations to develop high value ‘green’ chemicals from 2G lignin and improve biorefinery sustainability” at IndianOil R&D Centre, Sector 13, Faridabad, Haryana. One RA requires a Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology with preference for research in biological conversion of lignin via microbial fermentation/bioprocessing. The other RA requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Analytical/Physical) with preference for chemical catalysis of lignin to produce biofuels/biochemicals/bioproducts. Upper age limit is 40 years as on the last date of application (relaxation: SC/ST/Women up to 5 years; OBC 3 years). Emoluments are Rs. 66,960 per month or as per DBT/DST sanctioned grant. Positions are co-terminus with the project; interview will be conducted online and no TA/DA is payable. Initial appointment is up to 14th Sep, 2027 or as per project tenability, and may be curtailed/extended based on performance and competent authority’s discretion.
