- 1. Reporting:
- Candidates must report at the venue by the stated reporting time; no candidate shall be admitted after commencement of the selection test
- 2. No TA/DA:
- No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the selection process
- 3. Stationery:
- Candidates should bring their own stationery items for the tests and avoid sharing them
- 4. Movement within yard:
- Movement to any areas, buildings or work sites of the shipyard other than the venue of the selection tests is strictly prohibited
- 5. No rescheduling:
- Requests for changing the date, time or venue of certificate verification and/or the selection process shall not be entertained
- 6. Website:
- Candidates are advised to frequently visit the Hooghly CSL website (Career page) for all updates related to the selection process
- 7. Rejection correspondence:
- No correspondence regarding rejection of an application in case of ineligibility during certificate verification or at any other stage shall be entertained
- 8. Postponement:
- Hooghly CSL reserves the right to extend the scheduled date or postpone/reschedule the selection process due to compelling or administrative reasons or government-imposed restrictions; any change will be notified on the Hooghly CSL website only
- 9. No employment right:
- Issue of a call letter and attending the selection process confers no right of acceptance of candidature and does not constitute an offer of appointment
- 10. Other terms:
- Other terms and conditions of Vacancy Notification No. HCSL/HR/RECTT/CONT/2025-26/1 dated 10 June 2025 shall apply
- 11. Canvassing:
- Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
Interview Details
- 1. Interview Process:
- Candidates who successfully complete the certificate verification will be allowed to attend the interview process.
Disqualification Criteria
- 1. False information:
- If any information furnished is found false or incorrect, or facts have been suppressed, the candidature/appointment will be cancelled or rejected without further notice
- 2. Garbage entries:
- Filling of garbage/junk details in any field can lead to rejection of the application
- 3. No design experience:
- Candidates who do not have experience in design shall not apply
- 4. Canvassing:
- Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification
