Job Details

Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) invites applications on deputation (on Foreign Service terms) for the post of Assistant Account Officer at its Technology Centre, Bengaluru. 1. Assistant Account Officer

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Deputation basis: Appointment on deputation (on Foreign Service terms).
  • Service eligibility: Central Government officers holding analogous posts OR with 3 years’ regular service in Level-7 OR 5 years’ regular service in Level-6; or officers from State/UT Government, PSU, or Autonomous Organisation in corresponding grades with requisite experience.
  • Professional/qualification alternatives: CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) OR SAS/equivalent of organised Accounts Cadre OR ISTM Cash & Accounts Training OR at least five years’ experience in handling accounts related work.

Age Limitations:

  • Upper age limit: Below 56 years as on the closing date for the application.

Salary Details

> Salary Range: ₹47,600 - ₹1,51,100 Monthly

> Allowances: As per UIDAI (Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Employees) Regulations, 2020.

  • Pay level: Pay Matrix Level-8 of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
  • Pay protection (dissimilar pay structures): If pay structure/DA pattern is dissimilar, only pay is protected and not perquisites, as per DoPT OM 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17.6.2010.

Submit the application online through the UIDAI Career Portal at https://career.uidai.gov.in within the prescribed time limit.
2. Hard copy through proper channel:
After online submission, download/print the filled application and submit the signed hard copy to the Cadre Controlling Authority/Parent Organisation for forwarding through proper channel.
3. Forwarding address:
Director (HR), UIDAI, Aadhaar Complex, NTI Layout, Tata Nagar, Kodigehalli, Technology Centre, Bengaluru – 560 092.
4. Consideration of applications:
Only applications submitted online and subsequently forwarded through proper channel with all requisite documents will be considered; mere online submission will not suffice.
5. Cadre controlling authority clarification:
For AIS (IAS/IPS/IFoS) members, cadre controlling authority is DoPT/MHA/MoEFCC respectively; where none is specified, the authority competent to relieve the officer on deputation is treated as the cadre controlling authority.

Document Requirements

1. Application printout:
Duly filled, signed and attested/certified hard copy of the online application submitted through the UIDAI Career Portal.
2. Cadre clearance:
Cadre clearance from the Cadre Controlling Authority.
3. Vigilance/disciplinary clearance:
Vigilance/disciplinary clearance in respect of the applicant.
4. ACRs/APARs:
Copies of ACRs/APARs for the last five years, duly attested on each page by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India or equivalent.
5. Forwarding certificate:
Certificate from the forwarding authority in the prescribed format at Annex-I.

Important Instructions

1. Tenure of deputation:
The period of deputation shall be five years; lending organisation may relieve for a lesser period subject to a minimum of three years.
2. Leave rules:
Leave shall be regulated by the Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972.
3. Governing instructions:
Terms and conditions of deputation are governed by UIDAI Regulations, 2020 and DoPT OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay II) dated 17.6.2010 and subsequent orders.
4. Vacancy change/withdrawal:
UIDAI may change the number of vacancies or withdraw the circular at any time.
5. No withdrawal of candidature:
Individuals who apply may not withdraw their candidature subsequently.
6. Incomplete/late applications:
Applications received after the last date or incomplete may not be considered.
